Highway Herald Ministries was founded in August 2018 by Peter Reins.
In 2017, as God's providence would have it, Peter was serving on active duty in the Middle East and he came across a book by C. W. Banks, The Life and Times of John Calvin; With An Earnest Appeal to Bible Christians for the Adoption of Open-Air Preaching. Never before having heard of the phrase, "Open-Air Preaching," this intrigued Peter and pressed him to look into the ancient method of evangelism. After much prayer and study of the Bible's many examples of open-air preaching, the Holy Spirit gripped Peter's heart and compelled him to preach the gospel of Christ in the public arena.
Peter currently serves as the Associate Pastor at Riverside Christian Fellowship in Hernando, FL and is a chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserve. Prior to deployment, Peter served as an adjunct faculty member for Grand Canyon University's College of Theology.
HHM exists to proclaim the glory of Jesus Christ and encourage Christians to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15; Lk. 24:47). Based out of Citrus County, FL, HHM is accountable to the church elders at Riverside Christian Fellowship (www.voiceofvision.org).
